Battle at the Castle Softball

The Decathlon Breda BATC Softball 2019 took place from Saturday July 20 until Tuesday July 23, 2019 in Oosterhout, the Netherlands.

 It was another great tournament with great games, great players and a lot of new friendships.

Best Hitter - Zia Stolk
Best Pitcher - Kayleigh van der Linden
Golden Glove - Elise Ooms
Rookie of the Year - Puk de Groot
Most Valuable Player - Finette Stokman

The Hedwig Rouwenhorst Award was presented to Sam Dekker. Sam had two knee surgeries in the last 8 months and played her heart out during the tournament. Another surgery is needed to take out the screws from her knees. She played the tournament in pain, but never complained, stayed positive and on top that played a heck of a tournament!
